Key Features of Our School Group Programmes

Flexible programmes designed around organised school groups

Our School Group programmes combine English tuition, accommodation, airport transfers and cultural experiences in Dublin, with the flexibility to tailor the programme around your group’s dates, ages, learning objectives and interests.

Designed for students aged 13–18

The public School Groups website positions the programme for organised student groups aged 13 to 18. The final group profile and any specific welfare or operational requirements are confirmed before booking.

Closed-group tuition

Students study together as a closed group rather than being distributed across unrelated adult classes. This gives the academic team a clearer context for tailoring lesson themes and activities to the group.

15 or 20 hours of English per week

Choose SCH15 with 15 hours of English tuition per week or SCH20 with 20 hours. Morning or afternoon tuition can be used according to the confirmed programme.

100% customisable

Programmes can be adapted around dates, group size, student ages, accommodation, class schedule, meals, local transport, airport transfers, activities, excursions and other specific requirements.

Full-board accommodation

Full-board Host Family accommodation is included in the standard package and is available throughout the year. Summer Student Residence and year-round City Centre Hostel options are also available, subject to dates and availability.

Return airport transfers included

Return airport transfers form part of the standard School Group package, helping schools coordinate arrival and departure logistics as part of the same programme.

Activities and cultural experiences

ISI-led Dublin activities and a weekend walking tour with a guide are included. Schools can add cultural visits, evening activities, full-day excursions and practical tours from the current published options.

1 free group leader per 15 students

The standard 2027 School Group package includes one free group leader place for every 15 students. Extra group leaders can be added under the current published supplement rules.

Certificate of completion

Students receive an ISI Dublin certificate of completion at the end of the programme.

Support before and during the stay

ISI works with schools, teachers and organisers to coordinate the programme and support the group. Current School Group positioning includes welfare systems and emergency assistance alongside academic and accommodation support.

Groups can select General English or practical modules such as English for the Workplace, Irish History & Culture, Modern Technology & Social Media, Sustainability & Climate Change and other current published learning options.
