English & Career Skills programmes for Italian secondary schools
This 2027 route is designed specifically for Italian secondary schools and combines English language development with practical career, culture and life-skills modules. Groups can choose between 20 or 30 hours of tuition per week within a structured Wednesday-arrival programme in Dublin.

Practical learning with a career focus
The ESF/PCTO programme is positioned around practical English, career and life skills, culture, teamwork, problem-solving and preparation for the future. It is a separate product route from the standard SCH15/SCH20 School Group programme.

What the programme includes
Both ESF20 and ESF30 are built around a complete group programme in Dublin.
- Wednesday arrival
- Airport transfers
- Full-board Host Family accommodation in shared student rooms
- 2 group leaders per group of 15 or 20 students, accommodated in single rooms
- Bus pass
- Classes from Thursday to Wednesday
- Saturday hike using the Bus/Dart pass with an ISI Activity Leader
ESF20
ESF20 includes 20 hours of tuition per week together with 10 hours of activities and excursions accompanied by an ISI Activity Leader. Tuition may be delivered over four or five teaching days depending on flight schedules while still delivering the full 20 hours.
ESF30
ESF30 includes 30 hours of tuition per week together with 10 hours of teacher-led company visits or practical activities. Tuition may be delivered over four or five teaching days depending on flight schedules while still delivering the full 30 hours.
Wednesday arrival structure
Groups arrive on Wednesday. The standard Host Family transfer departs Dublin Airport at approximately 16:30. Earlier arrivals may wait at ISI before departure to their host families. Alternative early-transfer arrangements are on request and subject to availability.
Sistemazione
Full-board Host Family accommodation is included in the standard ESF/PCTO programme. Student Residence accommodation is also available during the published summer period from 3 June to 11 August 2027, subject to availability and confirmation.

This ESF+ / PCTO route is a dedicated Italy-only programme. Standard School Group rules, inclusions and leader ratios should not be mixed with ESF/PCTO rules. Final dates, accommodation, practical visits and any non-standard arrangements are confirmed for each group.
